An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join our expanding team at a 4-bed children's home (EBD).
Up to £35,700 per year
Located in Burton on Trent

What You Will Be Rewarded With:

* £500 salary increase upon completion of probation
* £500 salary increase per year for every 1 year of service after passing your probation

Our successful Senior Support Worker will need to possess the following skills and attributes:
* NVQ Level 3 Children’s residential Or NVQ Level 3/4 Children, Young People & Family Practitioner (essential)
* Experience in a children's home setting (essential)
* Supervisory experience
* Be able to work shift patterns including sleep ins
* Full, UK driving licence (essential)
Key Responsibilities:
* Working and supporting children and young people to create positive outcomes and promote independence
* Leading teams & supporting the daily running of the home and Senior Management decisions
* Shift planning & Budgeting
* Supporting team development & conducting supervisions
* Direct practical interactions with children and young people including play, activities, cooking, personal care, engaging with the wider community, supporting educational and health needs
* General house duties and maintenance & completing health and safety checks
* Engage in planning, creating, updating and implementing care plans
* Creating, updating and adhering to individual risk assessments
* Keyworking & Advocacy
* Working in partnership with other agencies
* Report writing and attending reviews as required
Shift Pattern: 2 days on shift, then 4 days off
Salary up to £35,700 per year (inclusive of 10 sleeps per month, any additional sleeps are paid at £60 per sleep)
Candidates must have their NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children's and Young People Workforce. You must also have at least 1 year of experience within residential Childcare and working alongside young people.
