Security Engineer

Salary: £49,235 - £57,000 + company Benefits
Location: Hybrid (1 day per week in Cardiff/Newport)

We are currently seeking Security Engineer; a component of our client's Security Engineering team sits within the Security Operations team which forms part of the wider Information Security function. The Security Engineer is responsible for implementing, configuring and evolving the security technology portfolio.

Experience

* Proven experience of actively supporting IT/Security infrastructure
* A strong technical background is required with good knowledge and skills in terms of supporting one or more of the following technologies: -
* Web Proxy/Content Filtering -
* Email Filtering -
* Endpoint Detection and Response -
* Host Based Firewalling, HIDS/HIPS -
* Anti-malware - Microsoft Office 365/Azure Security products
