Are you an experienced Desktop Support Technician ready to make an immediate impact in a dynamic environment? Our global client is looking for multiple Desktop Support Technicians for an initial 6-month contract in Boston. If you have a strong background in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting users, and maintaining systems, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support: Respond to incoming requests via phone and work orders, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Document & track: Log all issues and resolutions, providing clear documentation.
- Install & upgrade systems: Perform desktop setups, software installations, and system configurations.
- End-user support: Assist users with issues and follow up to ensure complete resolution.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 5+ years in desktop support, or an Associate's degree in a related field.
- Technical skills: Experience with Windows and Mac OS X, hardware troubleshooting, and application support.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to build rapport and document solutions.
- Problem-solving: Ability to handle complex tasks and provide creative solutions to issues.
