AWS Cloud Architect - Fully Remote
Our trusted partner, a SaaS corporation that improves the lives of thousands of people every day is hiring a AWS Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of their AWS road-map to establish their cloud first strategy. To be considered, you must have strong capabilities in EC2, S3, RDS and Lambda coupled with Scripting capabilities in Python/Bash or similar tools with demonstrable experience in developing IaC using CloudFormation or Terraform.
Our client is looking to pay a basic salary of £81,000 + benefits to be operational on a fully remote basis. This is a challenging position, with opportunity to lead a company through transition to a modern server-less environment.

- Automation: Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform, automating deployments and configurations.
- Innovation: Stay current with AWS advancements and industry trends, driving innovation and continuous improvement in our cloud practices.
Key technical skill requirements to be successful:
- Strong experience in cloud architecture and design with focus on AWS.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of security best practices and frameworks, including IAM, encryption, compliance, and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK stack, or similar.
- Proficient in Scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Experience with data storage and databases on AWS, such as DynamoDB, Aurora, and Redshift.
