Director of Data - Data Design, Data Governance, Data Strategy, Data Quality, Stakeholder Management, Market Data, Financial Services - London/Remote - £100,000 - £120,000 base + bonus + benefits

My Client, a global Financial Services organisation offering complete end-to-end data are searching for a permanent Director of Data Design & Governance. This role will be reporting directly into the Chief Data Officer ultimately playing a pivotal role in shaping the firm's data governance strategy and scalability of data used across financial institutions.

As the Director of Data, you will look into streamlining data processes, optimising the efficiency of data collection and transformation as well as ensuring the firm is adhering to data quality standards. Stakeholder management is also key in this role as you have to collaborate across all levels of the organisation to ensure data governance initiatives are aligned.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong skills across the following:

• Extensive experience as a Director of Data - including exposure to data governance, data management, data design, data quality & data strategy
• Ideal background would be within financial services data
• Hands on experience with SQL as well as an understanding of data architecture/modelling
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing senior stakeholders across global locations
• Finally great communication and interpersonal skills, as you will work directly with customers and client-facing teams
