Are you an experienced Infrastructure Engineer looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Our client, a leading organisation in the industry, is seeking a talented professional to join their team. If you have a strong background in Windows Server, security vulnerabilities, and domain structures, then this could be the perfect role for you!
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for working closely with end users and application experts to understand the business requirements of legacy applications. Your main objective will be to develop and implement a strategic plan to address the challenges posed by running these applications on outdated operating systems. This may involve upgrading the host operating system, finding replacement applications, or isolating the legacy applications to mitigate security vulnerabilities. You will also be responsible for testing and documenting the solutions for all required legacy applications.
To excel in this role, our client is looking for candidates with the following skills:
Strong knowledge of Windows Server (Apply online only)
Familiarity with security vulnerabilities and the ability to address them effectively
Experience working with Azure and domain structures
Proficiency in scripting and Group Policy
Familiarity with legacy applications like FoxPro and Access 97
Flexibility to work outside of business hours when required
