iSeries Technical Support Analyst

Exciting opportunity for an iSeries Technical Support Analyst/Help Desk Analyst to join a manufacturing company that is the leader in their industry.

You will be responsible for end-user support, administration of business applications, develop appropriate documentation related to both applications set up and end user processes, assist with end user training, w ork with business owners and document business requirements in support of resolving needed business functions, a ssist with creating and developing specifications for programming or modifications, a ssist with development and implementation of new applications and process, coding Scripting or coding (support business related functions, reporting requirements, application interfaces), assist with maintenance of iSeries/ERP, security, and backup and recovery.

This is a contract to hire position located in Norcross. After you get established, you can telecommute 1 to 2 days a week. We will consider relocation assistance for out of town candidates.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 2+ years RPG and AS/400 development experience
  • ERP experience
  • Knowledge of software implementations
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Team player who is self motivated
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Collaborative personality

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • DB2
  • SQL
