About the Role:
My client is looking for an experienced Network Engineer with security clearance and a strong background in Cisco network implementations and support. This role involves working on high-profile projects, ensuring secure, stable, and optimized network operations.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months (View for Extension)
• Day Rate: Up to £580 per day (Inside IR35)
• Location: Bristol (Hybrid)
• Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, configure, and support Cisco network infrastructure including Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and wireless solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining high security standards.
• Collaborate with the IT and security teams to implement network solutions in line with project and compliance requirements.
• Document configurations, support activities, and network architecture to maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

• Active Security Clearance (SC/DV) is essential for this role.
• Proven experience in network implementation and support with Cisco products (eg, Cisco IOS, Cisco ASA, Cisco Meraki).
• Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and troubleshooting tools.
• Cisco certifications (such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE) are highly desirable.
