Junior Field Service Engineer - Reading - £25,000 + Van, Fuel Card & Paid Overtime

The Company:

Lorien are working with a global software company who provide technology into the education industry. With national growth of accounts they're looking for a motivated candidate to join their business.

The Role

Your role is to visit customer sites, ensuring the maintenance and installation of their kit, which includes software upgrades, hardware installation, cabling and much more. Joining the business as a Junior gives the opportunity to begin a career moving through to becoming a Senior Engineer and leading projects.

The Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a blend of the following skills:

• General knowledge of IT systems (Software Installs, Network Connectivity/Microsoft and Windows OS)
• Excellent customer facing skills with exposure to managing a range of customer queries
• Good problem solving skills
• Some knowledge of payment devices (EPOS/POS, etc.) is advantageous
• Must have a valid driving licence
