My client is looking for an talented Mainframe consultant, who can demonstrate solid experience in migrations, install, upgrade, configure, maintenance and support of multi-vendor Mainframe hardware and software.

Key experience.

• Seamless Installations & Upgrades: Ensure your hardware and software are always up-to-date and running at peak performance.
• REXX Procedure Management: Create, implement, and maintain efficient REXX procedures for CMS and VSE, streamlining system functions and developer tasks.
• Performance & Capacity Management: Optimise the Mainframe's performance, monitoring CPU usage, disk space, network adapters, and user experience.
• Logical Connectivity Support: Maintain smooth connections between Mainframe and network applications, ensuring seamless data flow.
• Monitoring & Alerting Solutions: Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems for all Mainframe components, keeping the team informed and proactive.
• Documentation & Compliance: Develop and maintain thorough documentation, supporting audit requirements and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Technical Resource & Consulting: Expert guidance on overcoming obstacles and supporting the development team.
