Head of Copy - Digital Media/Online Streaming
Head of Copy is required by a major Digital Media Company based in London, as a company they deliver powerful, user-focused experiences in the tech and entertainment space. They are expanding, and are looking for a Head of Copy to join our team as we bring exciting new products to life. This is a role for someone who can balance big-picture brand strategy with hands-on storytelling to enhance our user experience and strengthen our brand voice.
As Head of Copy, you'll be responsible for developing and driving our brand's voice, creating messaging that resonates with our users across digital channels. Working closely with product, marketing, and design teams, you'll craft narratives that communicate the essence of our brand and keep audiences engaged. You'll also oversee content standards, localisation, and testing strategies to ensure our voice connects globally.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the Brand Voice: Shape and maintain a distinctive brand voice that aligns with our values and is consistent across all user touchpoints.

- Content Standards: Develop and uphold a set of content standards that keep our voice consistent, while also ensuring clarity and brand alignment.
- Global Content Strategy: Oversee localisation to adapt content for international audiences, ensuring it resonates across different cultural contexts.
- Mentor & Develop the Team: Lead a team of talented writers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and growth.
What We're Looking For:
- Industry Experience: Extensive experience in content leadership roles within digital or tech-driven companies, ideally with a track record of shaping brand voice for product-focused launches.
- Copy Strategy & Execution: Strong ability to create impactful copy strategies that drive engagement and brand recognition across platforms.
- Exceptional Writing Skills: Mastery in English, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and creatively in a way that's compelling and relatable.
- Analytical Insight: Skilled in using data to inform content decisions, with experience in A/B testing and metrics analysis for continuous improvement.
