FX/OTC Project Manager ( Initiative Manager)
Description
The candidate will work in the NCL FX & OTC Operations Change team, alongside people based in US, UK and Switzerland.
NCL FX & OTC Operations provides global trade validation and settlement services to the NCL division as well as other Business Divisions and Treasury
The change team manages all MTB, CTB and Integration driven change for the function.
The global and diverse team works alongside Business and Technology stakeholders in NCL and other consuming business divisions. Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will manage decoupling and decommissioning of c. 85 applications in the bank infrastructure in line with GEB mandate, identifying and realizing cost reductions through exit of NCL platforms and services.
Ensure early detection and management of potential issues and dependencies.
Identify and manage senior stakeholders, evaluate their interests, and establish effective communication channels ensuring effective stakeholder management and engagement.
Coordinate the tasks of the initiative among different divisions, streams, crews of different streams, and vendors.
Help resolve cross-stream conflicts and dependencies, align with stream/crew leads and facilitate reprioritization efforts.
Perform risk assessment, play an active role in risk mitigation and management, and maintain and monitor a risk management plan. Communicate regularly with product and crew leads to ensure full transparency and collaborate with streams/divisions to provide transparency of strategic/regulatory initiatives.
Essential Skills:
Strong Project Management skills
Strong communication skills, at senior and peer level
Able to work with high degree of autonomy throughout project life cycle.
Strong spoken and written English essential.
Desired Skills:
FX & OTC product knowledge
Trade Validation and Settlement know-how
Experience in system decommissioning (own-build and vendor products)
German an advantage
Experience Level:
5 years' experience of similar sized projects

The initiative is part of a mass decommissioning program, which is being undertaken globally.
The program has high attention from the board.
Highly complex integration with multiple upstream and downstream environments/services.
