Job Title: Payroll Specialist - UK and Ireland
Salary: £40,000
Location: London
Hybrid: 3 days in office and 2 WFH.
JGA is collaborating with a fantastic, well-known brand to find a Payroll Specialist for the UK and Ireland on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
Respond to payroll queries for Ireland and the UK, ensuring compliance with company SLA’s and managing stakeholder expectations.
Complete monthly remittances accurately and on time, including correspondence with HMRC and internal auditors.
Conduct auto-enrolment checks, SMP calculations, and ensure UK payroll changes comply with legislation.
Validate payroll reports from the outsourced provider and research upcoming UK legislation changes for integration.
Support payroll processing tasks, including managing maternity schedules, timecards, and bonus reconciliations. About you:
Experienced with time management and HR systems, possessing high analytical skills and accuracy in work.
Proven ability to handle a wide range of payroll queries and maintain confidentiality while building strong relationships with stakeholders.
Detail-oriented and adaptable to change, able to work quickly to meet deadlines and deliver quality service on time.
Knowledgeable in UK payroll legislation, including SMP, SSP, and pensions auto-enrolment, with proven experience in a payroll team, ideally in a commercial environment with an outsourced provider.
Proficient in Excel with intermediate skills and experience using various formulas.
