At Connect it we’re fully focused on delivering an exceptional multi utility service for our customers.

To build on our success we’re looking to expand our existing EV Charging Electrical and Civils team by recruiting an additional EV Charging Project Delivery Manager.

You’ll be at the heart of a growing business whilst developing your own operational, commercial and workplace skills to suit the requirements of the business and its valued customers.

This is a hands-on role, taking responsibility for operational and commercial end to end delivery of EV Charging multi point charging projects for high profile clients across South London and surrounding counties.

Key skills:

* Responsibility for project management and delivery within EV Charging division of the business, liaising with operational and commercial teams on a day-to-day basis.

* Experience of working within public realm, highway civils and/or utilities sectors.

* Maintaining client relationships; attend site / client / company meetings.

* Working to contract conditions such as NEC / JCT / Bespoke.

* Ensuring delivery of multiple projects in a timely and efficient manner whilst maintaining quality.

* Liaising with estimating teams to establish precise and competitive quotations.

* Resource planning; maximising output and productivity.

* Management reporting and process improvement.

* Review and manage project deliverables pre and post contract, e.g. design interpretation and construction methodology changes.

* Supporting the delivery of all elements of the contract; including estimating at concept, construction phase programmes to completion and full commercial entitlement.

* Managing teams of Site Supervisors / Operatives.

* Working with all levels of the management team to establish new efficient ways of working and being part of the overall strategic think tank to improve the performance of the business.

Qualifications and experience:

* MUST HAVE high level of technical electrical knowledge around EV Charging.

* Suitable qualifications and professional experience.

* Experience with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs).

* NRSWA experience and ideally current certification.

* EUSR / CSCS certificate.

* First Aid.

* Full UK Driving License essential.

* A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.

* Delivery focussed, ‘can do’ achiever who can take the initiative to see changes through to delivery.

* Good attention to detail with excellent time management skills.

Additional:

* Good working knowledge of Microsoft office (particularly Outlook, Excel, Word).

* Proficient in technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
