Our client design and develop disruptive, digital technologies specifically for healthcare meetings and events. Their bespoke engagement solutions are tailored to client's unique needs. They ensure events and meetings are effective, enjoyable and memorable.

In the last 12 months they have been active in 25+ countries and on 6 continents across the globe.

THE ROLE

This role offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced and ambitious team that have collectively set their sights on becoming the global leader for healthcare event technology.

As Event Technology Specialist, you will play a pivotal role driving the development of our leading-edge web-based technology platforms. You will be involved at all stages of the project build and your knowledge and expertise will be a game changer for our wide client base. You will help shape the delivery of projects. You will also attend, project manage and ensure the effective delivery of our engagement solutions at key client events.

WHAT ARE YOU RESPONSIBLE FOR?

  • Working from client brief through multiple builds, changes and updates through to rehearsals, in-event delivery and post event reporting
  • Advising and supporting clients at all stages of delivery
  • Understanding location Wi-Fi and Internet set up
  • Releasing the platform, Pre-Event, In-Event and Post Event
  • Real Time delivery in-event, making changes as the event progresses and handling dashboards, admin panels and broadcast views
  • Doing whatever else we need to do in order to keep our great client base happy

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE IN ABUNDANCE?

You will be confident and competent travelling regularly to different events on different continents. You will be working across different time zones, cultures and client sectors. Due to our global team, you will be happy to work flexibly and remotely, working and travelling from home to events.

Your tech skills will have been honed working within an AV team or Event Delivery team, you will be a techie' at heart and will have a keen problem-solving approach. You need to have a genuine interest in the disruptive power of technology and will need to familiarise yourself with our platforms to ensure our clients get the most out of their events.

You will have an incredible eye for detail and recognise that some repetitive tasks are essential to maintaining our high standards and continued level of success. You will be a strong project manager with experience overseeing multiple projects at once.

You will be confident and comfortable being client-facing. Our clients are amazing people and enjoy working with us because we speak up when needed, shape discussions, and challenge delivery options.

Most of all we need people who deliver what they promise to clients, agencies and other members of the team. We have built our reputation on outstanding delivery, effective problem solving and technical expertise and a willingness to react in Real Time to customer changes and expectations.

You might have a degree in a relevant subject, you might have a career built on rapid growth in event related technical roles. You might be self-taught in the use of technical platforms. We will consider all candidates that meet this role descriptor.

THE BORING STUFF

Essential

  • The ability to travel to all corners of the globe. You will need access with the minimum of fuss to enter China, USA, Middle East and all corners of Europe.
  • Above average' tech skills to understand and run different dashboards and event platforms

Desirable

  • Ideally you should live near a major Airport hub and have a driving licence
