For one of our leading financial client we are looking for a Senior Frontend JavaScript Developer with experience in the trading industry.

We offer you a 100% pension, 12-months contract with really high possibilities of extensions in one of the best financial companies in Switzerland.

We are looking for a Senior JavaScript Expert, someone who can bring value to the team, have initiative, try to improve and deliver a high quality of service.

We are looking for the right person to join one of the best teams in Zürich, with a really mature atmosphere, extremely healthy. This is a core team for the bank, where people at a level of seniority who can take ownership and responsibility of their own projects is needed.

Your challenge:

The vision of our client is to create the standard intercompany trading platform for relationship managers and external asset managers and provide an environment where innovative and collaborative people thrive.

They are looking for a new team member who maintains the current platform and has the opportunity to improve and create new libraries and frameworks upon which the trading platform is based. The team interacts directly with traders and business owners to capture new requirements, design and implement innovative solutions in an agile environment.

  • Build, test and deploy new product features
  • Communicate and liaise with key business and IT stakeholders
  • Continuously drive and improve the system

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:

  • Profound hands on JavaScript programming skills and deep knowledge of current JavaScript frameworks and technologies (TypeScript, Node.js)
  • Understanding of Unix operating system and bash Scripting
  • 5+ years of working experience, preferably in an international environment
  • Work experience in the financial industry would be a plus
  • Ability to work in an agile environment
  • Excellent decision making and problem solving skills
  • Very good English is a must, German would be a plus
  • Team player, strong communication and interpersonal skills
