Azure Site Reliability Engineer

Remote (UK)

Up to £72,000 Base Salary

2 stage interview process

We are looking for an SRE looking to take the next step in their career, to become a key member of the team at an SME sized business. The client provides leading cloud based applications, datasets within the public and private sector - recently dominating the market with their first of a kind platform for their industry.

You'll excel in the collaborative environment if you are an open communicator, willing to bring new ideas, develop your current skillets & have an interest in working towards a wider business goal.

You will be critical to ensuring the health of the Azure platform & maintaining full uptime by working with multiple teams across architecture, development & security. Your day to day will look like:

  • Leading decisions on reliability metrics & managing the resulting reports.
  • Collaborating on new designs, ensuring they are meeting SRE best practice.
  • Mitigating any misconfiguration and maintain platform health.
  • Monitoring & investigating any malpractice relating to the Azure Solutions.

You Will Have Experience In:

  • A previous SRE position, with a desire to progress into a senior position.
  • The Azure platform.
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Scripting using Powershell, Bash or Python.
  • Cloud based applications.
  • An Infrastructure support background, across a range of IaaS, PaaS & SaaS Solutions.

You will stand out if you have experience in Cosmos DB & Azure Security tooling.
