National Sales Executive Retail Grocery
Our client is seeking a National Sales Executive Retail Grocery to focus on selling frozen foods such as seafood, seafood meals, sauces, and marinades to national and regional retail grocery chains. This role is critical for expanding their presence in frozen food aisles with new products like dumplings, seafood pastas, and Asian cuisine.
Key Responsibilities:
Target Market: National and local/regional retail grocery chains. Candidates with contacts at large chains like Costco, WinCo, Sam's Club, Whole Foods, and Safeway are highly desired.
Sales Focus: Sell frozen food products directly to retail grocery stores. No sales to restaurants, small chains, or food brokers.
New Business Development: The candidate will be responsible for hunting new accounts and introducing multiple SKUs over time.
Merchandising: Experience working with merchandisers and building relationships with large grocery chains and distributors is essential.
Salary/Structure:
Base Salary: $85K - $125K (based on experience and contacts)
OTE: $95K - $200K, uncapped commissions, with numerous SKUs available for sale.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Frozen Food Sales Experience: Must have established contacts within retail grocery, specifically in frozen food.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in selling products like dumplings, pastas, Asian cuisine, or frozen seafood/meats is preferred.
