About the Role:

Were on the hunt for a Corporate M&A and Private Equity Associate to join our client's corporate practice in New York or Boston. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of private equity transactional experience and expertise in acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, and fund formation. Your Mission:

Work on acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, and other private equity transactions.

Provide legal services to private equity funds, financial institutions, and global commingled funds.

Collaborate with a national corporate team to support complex corporate transactions.

Manage transactions and work efficiently, both independently and within a team environment.

Provide exceptional client service, ensuring that business goals are met through legal solutions.

Core Competencies:

Private Equity Transactional Expertise: Strong experience handling private equity transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, fund formation, and portfolio management.

Corporate Legal Services: Ability to advise on all aspects of commercial, financial, and industrial transactions.

Client-Centric Approach: Commitment to delivering high-quality client service while managing complex corporate deals.

Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in team settings.

What You Bring:

Juris Doctor (JD) or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.

Admitted or eligible for admission in New York or Massachusetts.

3+ years of M&A and private equity transactional experience in a corporate law firm.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and balance competing responsibilities.

Ability to collaborate effectively in team settings.

Work Environment & Benefits:

Competitive salary ranging from $260,000 to $310,000, plus bonus eligibility.
