Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Pulmonary

Location: Gainesville, FL

Shift Type: Night

Shift Start Time: 7:00 PM

Shift End Time: 7:00 AM

Shifts Per Week: 3

Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week

Hourly Rate: $29.00 to $40.00, depending on experience and qualifications

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pulmonary unit. As part of our medical surgical team, you will provide care and treatment to ill, injured, and recovering adults in a patient-centered care model. You will make clinical assessments and manage patient care autonomously, while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. Our team supports one another in delivering exceptional patient care, and we are looking for a motivated RN to join us in this mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patients health or situation.

Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary care team.

Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues.

Develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.

Act as a patient safety advocate and ensure effective care.

Educate patients and their families about medications, procedures, and treatments.

Ensure the effective use of time, supplies, and equipment.

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Florida or multistate compact licensure required.

Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.

Minimum of 1 year of acute care RN experience required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required prior to start.

NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
