Responsibilities:
POSITION SUMMARY:
The incumbent is a member of the healthcare team responsible for continuous cardiac monitoring surveillancedysrhythmia recognition and reporting and analyzing a recording EKG and hemodynamic waveforms using accepted
standards and measuring guidelines. The monitor technician is also responsible for maintaining accurate and complete records of all monitored patients according to unit policy assisting with order entry and answering the phones.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION / TRAINING:
1 year cardiac monitoring experience
Basic medical terminology
Basic computer skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to successfully complete dysrhythmia
recognition test.
Acute care experience required BLS CPR
EKG Monitoring course completion (Annual
