Work Arrangement: Remote, Hybrid, or In Office

Responsibilities:

A Day in the Life

A typical day as a Billing Specialist might include the following:

Serving as part of a team of administrative billers that provides timely and accurate invoices for offices or service lines across the Firm. 

Managing the billing process by maintain client billing information, generating customer invoices, and submitting customer invoices.

Becoming a subject matter expert of the Firm billing process and the related software.

Assisting with developing and implementing Firmwide standardized billings processes and/or new billing software.

Analyzing client WIP and preparing client invoices, forwarding for approval when appropriate.

Working with client service providers to ensure appropriate profit margins and that the client is billed for out of scope work.

Ensuring that invoices are formatted consistently and look professional.

Submitting client invoices by mail or auto e-bill. 

Understanding sales tax implications related to the billing process, which can vary by state.

Assisting with creating and maintaining documentation of procedures regularly to ensure they are up-to-date.

Maintaining accurate client billing information and working with other offices or departments to update as needed.

Continually identifying and implementing process improvements.

Qualifications:

Who You Are

You have an Associate's Degree with 1-3 years of related work experience; experience with accounting softwares, preferred.

You have keen attention to detail and understand how your job impacts other firm processes.

You are a multi-tasking master and there has never been a deadline you could not meet.

You are organized and are able to prioritize your tasks using effective time management.

You understand sales tax implications related to the billing process, which can vary by state.

You have strong written and verbal communication skills.

You are highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).

This position is remote eligible anywhere in the US.

Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.

Compensation 

$24-$27.50 per hour

Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
