Role: Estates Officer/Administrative Assistant
Contract Length: 6 months
Location: Southampton - Full 5 days on site for 2 weeks induction, then 3 Days a week on site thereon after
Minimum Requirement:
- Contribute to the guidance to operational teams to influence compliance with relevant policy, legislation and best practice. Support the delivery of business plans.
- Keep up to date on changing legislation and best practice externally, to make recommendations in the organisation.
- Assist with the development of policies and processes and monitor and advise on effective implementation in the organisation.
- Participate in projects, providing input to improve ways of working and organisational efficiency.
- Build relationships with operational stakeholders to understand issues and provide effective responses. Provide advice to others on policies, procedures, practices, and techniques.
- monitoring 500 sites across coast guards UK,
- populating docs and download docs on to Share point,
- monitor & deal with general task via generic mailbox, Work to SLA,
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in a similar administrative role within a corporate environment.
- Previous experience handling statutory compliance documents.
Key Competencies:
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse and interpret data accurately.
- Attention to Detail: Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Organisational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal.
- Strong Excel skills
- Work on your own initiative
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel, pivot tables, and data visualisation tools.
