Solution Architect (Amazon Connect Architect)
Permanent
Location: Glasgow, UK - 3 Days a week onsite
Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of AWS cloud engineers in the design, development, and implementation of contact center solutions.
- Architecture Design: Develop and own the overall architecture of contact center solutions, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
- AWS Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, Lex, Bedrock, API Gateway, Pinpoint, etc.) to build integrated contact center solutions.
- Amazon Connect Mastery: Demonstrate in-depth expertise in Amazon Connect, including contact flows, agent desktops, routing, analytics, and integration capabilities.
- CDK Proficiency: Utilize AWS CDK for infrastructure as code to automate and streamline the deployment process.
- Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve complex technical challenges, providing innovative solutions and workarounds.
- Best Practices: Adhere to AWS best practices and security standards to ensure the reliability and compliance of solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in contact center technology and AWS services.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Senior Amazon Connect Architect with a strong track record of successful contact center implementations.
- Deep understanding of AWS cloud services and architecture.
- Proficiency in AWS CDK for infrastructure as code.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in AWS and Amazon Connect.
- Experience with contact center industry standards and regulations.
- Knowledge of Scripting languages (Python, JavaScript).
