Responsibilities

Conduct hearing evaluations on students with suspected hearing impairments

Develop and implement individualized education plans for students with hearing impairments

Provide appropriate amplification, hearing assistive technology, and technical support to students

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support the students' academic progress and socialization

Maintain accurate and timely records of student evaluations, progress, and services provided

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student intervention plans

Stay up-to-date with research and advancements in audiology to provide the best services to our students.

Requirements

Master's degree or higher in Audiology

Current state licensure in audiology

Prior experience in child audiology, preferably in a school setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Knowledge of hearing assistive technology and equipment for students with hearing impairments

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs and situations.
