Responsibilities

Develop safety-critical software for self-driving cars by leading, managing, and expanding a team focused on the motion planning and controls 

Assume responsibility for the overall planning, execution, and success of autonomous driving related projects 

Guide and mentor the team to be productive in contribution and content in role development 

Actively code and develop prototypes to test novel algorithms and ideas (Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).

Foster a culture of experimentation and innovation, while promoting technical excellence and accountability within the team.

Ensure end-to-end ML pipelines are automated, from data ingestion and pre-processing to model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.

Stay on top of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Present the progress to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

7-10 years of experience building test-driven, fault-tolerant systems

Proven record of delivering a DL based system

MS or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

Extensive experience designing and building modern planning systems

Passionate about writing amazing, robust, safety-critical, efficient C++ and Python
