We are looking for a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker to join our team and provide comprehensive mental health services to individuals and families. In this role, you will be essential in assisting clients in addressing their mental health challenges and achieving their personal goals. You will conduct assessments, diagnose, and treat a variety of emotional and psychological issues while promoting overall well-being. Your compassion and skill in building trusting relationships will be crucial for delivering effective care.
Salary Range: $90,000 to $110,000
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments of clients' emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs.
Counsels and provides crisis intervention for patients, including assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems.
Consult and coordinate with family and/or support system regarding client treatment and discharge planning.
Communicates with physicians to report patient progress, needs, concerns, and potential and actual problems.
Maintains accurate and timely records including clinical and progress notes according to department policy.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.
Active Washington state licensure as LICSW.
You have 2 year or more of experience working with children or families with developmental differences.
Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
Familiarity with community resources and support services.
Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
