Overview

We are a nationally recognized engineering firm specializing in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking a CAD Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities Develop CAD drawings from sketches provided by engineers and design staff

Assist in the preparation of technical details with project engineer's or project manager's guidance

Develop 2D drawing extractions from 3D structural models and complete detailing and annotation

Assist in the quality checking of drafted product and conformance with drawing production standards and project specific CAD requirements

Coordination of drawing production activities between all disciplines at the project leve

Requirements

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience working in engineering design

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Must have U.S. Citizenship

Fundamental working knowledge of engineering drawing layout, detailing and drafting

Working knowledge of water, wastewater, and infrastructure design

Knowledge and proficiency in 2D CAD using MicroStation or AutoCAD

Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications Two-year technical or Associate Degree

Knowledge and proficiency in 3D CAD using MicroStation or AutoCAD
