Overview:

Our Environmental Services Technician (PRN) plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, orderly, and sanitary environment within the facility.   

This position involves cleaning and servicing various building areas according to established procedures.

The technician performs a variety of environmental duties to ensure that all spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a welcoming atmosphere will contribute significantly to the overall well-being of our patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications:

Education:

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Experience:

Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare facility is preferred.

This background will help ensure that our Environmental Services Technician can maintain the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene essential for our facility.

Responsibilities:

Clean assigned areas of the hospital and check and replenish all essential supplies in those areas.

Collect regular trash from each floor and transport it to the designated trash receiving area.

Safely pick up hazardous waste from designated areas and deliver it to the Hazardous Waste room, following proper boxing procedures.

Prepare germicidal and detergent solutions according to manufacturer specifications.

Ensure all items are stored in an orderly manner in the supply room, maintaining cleanliness of the cart and equipment.

Inspect assigned areas for any repair needs or hazardous conditions, taking appropriate action to stop malfunctioning equipment or contain hazardous situations.

Perform other related duties as required or requested.
