Ed Morse Automotive Group is currently looking for a General Manager in the state of Florida
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all operations of a Florida dealership.
Maximize return on investment through effective profit and loss management, daily operations, and the development and execution of short- and long-term marketing plans for growth.
Manage and protect company assets while developing employees for future growth opportunities.
Establish and communicate dealership policies and operating procedures.
Maintain comprehensive records and reports to evaluate dealership performance.
Lead recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and termination processes.
Conduct regular performance reviews for direct reports.
Set and/or approve compensation plans for dealership employees.
Provide necessary training for the management team, ensuring they have the skills required for success (e.g., seminars, sales training, technical training, etc.).
Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience in automotive General Management.
Proven track record of running a profitable automotive dealership.
Strong leadership skills with a stable and successful employment history.
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with dealer management and manufacturer software, with CDK preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
