Step into Your New Role

In this position you will be responsible for setting an environmental market strategy for the New England Area. The strategy should be fluid and evolving over time based upon market conditions, timing of opportunities and Kleinfelder’s evolving position in the marketplace. This position will require development and implementation of an action plan to achieve the strategy.

Close coordination with the Environmental Operations Manager as well as key Project Managers and Technical Managers in the Environmental Operations group will be required.

Location for this position is Portland, ME, but a hybrid work environment is acceptable. The position may require travel to and time in other area offices such as Boston, MA, Worcester, MA, Rocky Hill, CT, Manchester, NH and Augusta, ME. It may also require travel to client locations across New England as well as other locations as needed.

Responsibilities

Develop an understanding of Kleinfelder’s Environmental Market related services and history in the New England Marketplace. (First 1-2 months).

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the New England Environmental marketplace including those with client and teaming partner organizations. (On­going)

Serve as Client Account Manager (CAM) for environmental clients to be identified. Develop, maintain and update Client Engagement Plans for each. (On-going

Work collaboratively with the New England Area Manager and Environmental Operations Business Manager and the East Division Site Assessment and Remediation (SAR) Practice Leader, and others as appropriate, to develop a New England focused on Environmental Market strategy and implementation plan. (First draft 3-4 months, on-going updates)

Lead the implementation and action items from the Environmental Market strategy and implementation plan. (4 months+ then on-going)

Update and maintain Kleinfelder’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database with accurate estimating of opportunities based upon intelligence received through the implementation of the Environmental Market strategy. (On-going)

Education and Experience

Education: BA/BS in Science or Engineering

Experience: 20+ Years with experience in the New England Environmental Market
