Job Details:

Responsibilities 

Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall care for cardiac telemetry step down patients (including conditions such as chest pains, positive troponin, Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), and arrhythmias) 

Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses / RNs and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education.

Requirements

Passion for Cardiology

New Grads are welcome

1+ years of experience in Telemetry preferred

Experience reading cardiac monitors preferred

Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree

Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration

Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) required from the American Heart Association

Posted Salary Range:

USD $52.14 - USD $78.49 /Hr.
