Job Overview:

Nikkiso Cryoquip is a leading manufacturer of heat exchangers, liquefiers, and vaporizers for the LNG and industrial gases industry. Applications include fueling stations, marine engines, peak shaving, power generation, virtual pipelines, and well stimulation.

Hourly Rate

$18-$23

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

 Diagnose and repair various pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical components and systems. 

•    Execute installation and repair of CNC lathes, Press Brakes, Shears, Paint equipment, Forklifts, material handling equipment, overhead cranes, and other manufacturing equipment 

•    Knowledge of repair and maintenance of welding equipment, electric motors, and pressure systems. 

•    Perform preventative maintenance duties by following routines and providing detailed documentation in CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) and recommend solutions to reoccurring issues. 

•    Diagnose and repair basic facility issues such as plumbing, electrical/lighting, door locks, and irrigation.

•    Organize work area and maintain spare parts according to 5S standard practices.

•    Provide support to manufacturing group by performing non-routine service requests to assure maximum equipment uptime. 

•    Operate a variety of machinery, equipment and tools including saws, router, drills, sanders, planers, drill presses and various hand tools.

•    Follow safety policies and practices established by our Manufacturing safety and maintenance program including by not limited to Personal Protection (PPE) Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO), Electrical Safety, and maintenance safety guidelines. Advise management of any potential risk to equipment downtime and provides a corrective and countermeasure plan.

•    Assist with special projects as needed. 

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a warehouse environment. This role routinely utilizes the operation of material handling equipment and various tools and machinery. 

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential tasks of this job.) Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear.  Occasionally required to sit.  Frequently must squat, stoop, or kneel, reach above the head and reach forward. Daily uses hand strength to grasp tools, supplies and equipment. Occasionally climbs ladders.  Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.    

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

 HS Diploma or GED required.

•    3-5 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or similar environment

•    Hands-on mechanical aptitude and proficiency diagnosing and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and fluid systems/equipment. 

•    Ability to read and understand schematics and various assembly drawings.

•    Experience working on various material handling equipment such as electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and overhead and jib cranes. 

•    Experience operating forklifts

•    Strong computer skills to document completed work and PMs in CMMS system. Email and internet as well. 

•    Light fabrication skills (welding and machining) preferred. 

•    Familiarity with disassembly and assembly of hydraulic cylinders, valves, and hoses.

•    Ability to work on-site during operational hours with occasional overtime as required. 

•  License/Certification:  Drivers license
