Position Description:

At a Glance

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a US-based Product Marketing Specialist to remotely join the Data Center Power & Control's rack power product management Team. The Product Marketing Specialist will join other product marketing professionals on the team and serve a critical role in product releases and launches, promotional programs, and communication regarding Legrand’s rack power products and associated technology. This position develops, executes, tracks, and measures the effectiveness of hardware and firmware product launches and supports our technical teams in marketing campaigns and programs.

What Will You Do?

Communicate product and technical information clearly and concisely through various mediums to intended audiences. 

Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Creative Services, Campaign Marketing, Channel Marketing, and Sales teams to deliver collateral, context, and support materials to drive successful product launches. 

Work closely with demand and digital marketing teams to develop and execute campaigns that drive pipeline and revenue growth. 

Create and manage technical marketing collateral and website copy: You’ll craft value messaging that captivates, educates, and converts in the form of positioning documents, website copy, landing pages, emails, sales collateral, product guides, FAQs, enablement materials – and more. 

Translate new feature releases into meaningful sales and marketing collateral, training videos, and knowledge base articles. Provide content for white papers, case studies, videos, website copy, and blog posts. 

Perform market research to understand our target audience’s wants, needs, and pain points. 

Create high-impact, useful tools to aid internal and external sales teams. 

Facilitate effective communication between internal teams to ensure alignment on product and marketing strategies. 

Monitor and analyze the performance of product metrics and PMM initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.  

Monitor competitor positioning and messaging activities. 

Collaborate on engagement and outreach projects with partners and/or customers. 

There will be occasional US travel for in-person office engagements in our Somerset, NJ, and/or Reno, NV, facilities, off-site team meetings, industry events, and/or client meetings. 

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required Skills

Education:  

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year College or University with an emphasis in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field a plus; or equivalent certifications and work experience.

Experience:  

A minimum of 2-4 years in B2B product marketing in computer or networking technology, hardware, or related experience; Experience in data center, power distribution, or network installations a plus; or equivalent certifications and work experience.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to provide information across multiple groups.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to resolve problems involving several variables in standardized situations.

Strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to work independently.

Computer proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook).

Familiarity of ISO 9000 standards and audit process.
