Position Description:

 At a Glance

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Coordinator to join the Legrand North America (LNA) Team in West Hartford, CT. This position is a Hybrid work model. In this role you will be responsible for the accurate and timely completion of payroll processing, funding preparation, reconciliations and more. You will assist with integration of acquisitions, consolidations and reorganizations of existing companies, and system upgrades.

What Will You Do?

Handle day-to-day payroll processing using the Ceridian Dayforce and/or Workday systems.

Calculate, confirm and transmit payrolls for each assigned business unit.

Run audit reports and transmit to appropriate HR team member.

Maintain company and employee payroll records.

Prepare, balance and distribute payroll funding requests and associated vendor payments.

Prepare journal entries for financial close.

Reconcile payroll related accounts.

Qualifications:

Required Skills

Education:

BS in Accounting, or Finance.

Experience:

Four years of payroll experience with an enterprise HR/Payroll system.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

Attention to detail and strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to confidentially handle highly sensitive material.

Computer proficiency with Ceridian Dayforce and/or Workday payroll systems.

Must have proficient experience using Excel.

Strong analytical, communication and project management skills.
