Responsibilities:

The STEMI Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of all services/systems required for the care of the STEMI patient.   The STEMI Coordinator functions in support of and collaboration with other health care team members by serving as an advanced clinical practitioner, consultant, educator, researcher and change agent.   The position supports the goals of the hospital in the advancement of the provision of quality STEMI care and is required to obtain and maintain certification. 

Qualifications:

 Bachelor of Science in Nursing or healthcare related field preferred.

Current state RN License, preferred.

Five years clinical and/or management experience in a multidisciplinary health care setting which includes a minimum of two years of inpatient experience preferred

Knowledgeable on current State Laws and Regulations as applicable to facility and STEMI program.
