Busy orthodontic practice is looking for a motivated, outgoing, someone that likes hands on treatment, enjoys working with teens/pre-teens and friendly assistant to join our team! Must be able to work in a fast paced office and always maintain a great attitude and superior customer service.
JOB SUMMARY: The primary role of the orthodontic dental assistant is to provide clinical care and ensure a positive experience for our patients. This includes welcoming the patient to the office, seating them, reading the chart, setting up for the doctor and communicating with patients to educate and motivate them throughout the treatment process.
This position will work in East Spokane Valley, Cheney, and North Spokane, and Colville offices.
Requirements
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Orthodontic experience and clinical proficiency with a variety of orthodontic appliances is preferred.
A candidate will be able to demonstrate proficiency in fitting bands and brackets, and tying in arch wires.
The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the desire and ability to learn new skills and work well with a team.
