Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking an OB/GYN to fill an opening with a Multi-specialty Healthcare Facility located in Columbus, Georgia.

Responsibilities of the OB/GYN:

Review patient's medical history

Update charts and patient information to show current findings and treatments

Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results.

Obstetricians and Gynecologists care for and treat women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods.

Obstetricians and Gynecologists prescribe or administer therapy, medication, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.

Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose medical condition of patient.

Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.

Monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary.

Advise patients and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.

Obstetricians and Gynecologists refer patient to medical specialist or other practitioner when necessary.

Direct and coordinate activities of nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff.

Obstetricians and Gynecologists consult with or provide consulting services to other physicians.

Recommend and design a plan of treatment

Address concerns or answer questions that patients have about their health and well-being

Requirements

Must have an active State License

Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible

Benefits

The salary for this position is $224,000 / yr (commensurate with experience)

This is a Full-time or a Part-time (at least 2-3 days a week) position
