We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, administering hearing screenings for patients, and making referrals when necessary. This role is critical in helping to identify and address hearing issues early, contributing to the overall health and well-being of patients.
Requirements
Conduct hearing screenings for adult patients.
Operate and maintain hearing screening equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
Accurately record and report screening results.
Collaborate with hearing healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
Perform administrative tasks related to patient records and equipment maintenance as needed.
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
The ideal candidate has:
High school diploma or equivalent - required
2 + years of experience in a healthcare setting - required
Previous experience in hearing healthcare a plus.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
