Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with the Business Units and Global New Product development engineering teams to productize NAND based SSD products.
Interfaces with internal teams and external customers on engineering issues involving the unit’s products.
Plan and execute product qualification plans, from early prototypes to mass production.
Proactively identify risks during development phase and lead mitigation planning
Specify the manufacturing test methodology for NAND-based SSD products; design manufacturing test flows and collaborate with test engineering to develop new testers and infrastructure that meet production requirement targets.
Ensure the production test coverage meets the manufacturing quality and cost targets for a successful launch to production.
Perform failure analysis on NAND-based SSD products in qualification and production environments, working as a critical interface between various cross-functional teams, including Test, Reliability, Firmware, ASIC, NAND Design, Operations
Identify and drive corrective actions, process improvements, error-proofing, and yield improvement efforts with appropriate functional owners.
Work with development teams on implementation of DFT and other automation solutions where possible
Work with wafer fab process teams, provide feedback for DPPM and yield improvement activities
Provide data to the leadership team for making critical decesion related to products, infrastructure and manufacturing processes
Improving group working efficiency by initiating and implementing automation through software and tools
