AECOM is seeking a hybrid role as a Traffic Engineer to be based in Columbus, OH.
Are you ready to navigate the world of Traffic Engineering and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)? Then AECOM is looking for you to join our team in the vibrant city of Columbus, Ohio! This is a Hybrid position so if someone is looking to split their time between home and office, this could be the position for you.
This role will provide the opportunity to directly support transformational projects including the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor project. This project is one of the largest highway infrastructure projects in the country and entails design and construction of existing bridge improvements and a new bridge crossing of the Ohio River between Cincinnati and Covington Kentucky, along with 8 miles of significant highway improvements. Design has begun and will extend over the coming years, providing a unique opportunity for multiple career-defining roles on the project. Position Overview:
Dive into exciting engineering challenges by taking on specific tasks
Gather and analyze essential engineering data using well-established procedures
Tackle detailed engineering assignments, including calculations and tests

Identify and address discrepancies in results
Guide and mentor entry-level engineers on their journey
Execute tasks within budget and schedule, showcasing your independence
Independently handle primary design elements for engineering projects
Excel in a professional role with developmental experience
