Job Title: Mammography
Location: Norman, Oklahoma
Shift Type: Days
Shift Times: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours/Day: Variable
Shift Notes: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Occasional half days on Saturdays.
Weekend Requirements: Occasional half days on Saturdays
Salary Range: $22.88/hour $37.37/hour (based on education and experience)
Job Description:
This full-service department offers both screening and diagnostic mammograms, interventional/biopsy services, and bone densitometry. Two additional satellite locations, the team handles over 100 patients daily. We are seeking motivated Mammography Technologists who are eager to expand their horizons and knowledge base as part of this dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms
Assist physicians with biopsy procedures
Conduct necessary quality assurance tasks for equipment
Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring the safety of both patients and staff
Collaborate with physicians and offices to deliver the best care for patient treatment plans
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited 2 or 4-year program in Sonography, accredited by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Training (JRCERT) Required
Registered Technologist in Mammography specialty and tomosynthesis qualifications Required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Required
Stereotactic and/or DEXA experience Preferred
