Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Appleton, Wisconsin
Rate: $26.00 per hour
Shift Type: Days
Shift Times: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, rotating weekends
Hours/Day: 8
Weekend Requirements: Based on case load; will constitute as overtime if needed
Job Overview:
As a Radiologic Technologist, you will provide essential diagnostic imaging services to nursing homes, health care facilities, correctional facilities, and other miscellaneous settings using portable X-ray and EKG equipment. You will be responsible for transporting and operating digital or computed radiography equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation. This role involves traveling to various locations and requires strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
Transport and unload portable X-ray equipment from the company-provided vehicle to perform exams at designated facilities.
Ensure that all X-ray images obtained are clinically diagnostic and meet professional standards.
Perform EKGs as needed and transmit results to a cardiologist for interpretation.
Scan and submit exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily as per protocol.
Maintain communication with dispatch, management, and clients in a professional manner.
Ensure proper care and maintenance of X-ray equipment.

Must be able to push/pull between 50 100 lbs. Using ramps and pulleys reduces this weight; however, in certain situations within facilities or homes, the weight may increase, requiring up to 50 lbs. of force multiple times a day.

Maintain required state licenses and/or ARRT certification.
Valid drivers license in good standing.
Vaccination against COVID-19 is required. Documentation is required for exemption requests.
