Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Shift Type: Evenings
Shift Times: 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Hours/Day: 10 hours
Shift Notes: 4, 10-hour shifts (2:00 PM - 12:00 AM) with one weekend rotation per month
Weekend Requirements: Once a month
Hourly Rate: $31.00
Job Overview:
The Radiologic Technologist will provide mobile X-ray and EKG (if applicable) services to various healthcare settings, including nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities. The role requires the safe transportation and operation of portable radiography equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment, transmitting results to a Radiologist for interpretation.
Transport, unload, and set up portable X-ray equipment at designated facilities, ensuring clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-ray images.
Perform EKGs (as required) and transmit results to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
Scan and submit exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily, adhering to protocol.
Communicate regularly, efficiently, and professionally with peers, management, dispatch department, and clients.
Maintain and care for all radiology equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
Perform additional tasks as required by management and outlined in the full job description and associate handbook.
