Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Austin,Texas
Rate: $30.00 per hour
Shift Type: Evenings
Shift Times: 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM (Sunday to Wednesday)
Job Description:
As a Radiologic Technologist, you will provide essential mobile X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities. You will operate portable radiology equipment to deliver high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patients receive timely and accurate results. This is an evening shift role from Sunday to Wednesday.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
Submit and transmit X-ray images to Radiologists for interpretation.
Transport and unload portable X-ray equipment from company-provided vehicles and set up at patient locations.
Perform EKGs (if applicable) and transmit results to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
Scan and submit exam-related paperwork and billing documents on a daily basis.
Maintain clear, professional communication with peers, management, dispatch, and clients.
Ensure all equipment, including the company vehicle and X-ray equipment, is maintained in excellent condition.
