Rate: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour
Salary: $79,040 - $87,360 (based on a 40-hour work week)
Shift Type: Days
Shift Times: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Hours/Day: 8 hours
Shift Notes: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (General/Vascular)
Relocation: Possible relocation, to be discussed at interview
Licensure Reimbursement: Available after 90 days of employment
Job Description:
As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for providing mobile ultrasound services at various nursing homes, home care facilities, prisons, and other processing sites throughout the Colorado Springs region. This role involves transporting and operating portable sonographic equipment to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams ordered by physicians.
Key Responsibilities:
Transport and unload portable ultrasound equipment and perform sonographic exams as ordered by physicians.
Perform and process ultrasounds using portable sonographic equipment and digitally send images to a Radiologist for interpretation.
Ensure that sonographic images are clinically diagnostic and technically competent.
Submit exam-related paperwork and billing daily as per protocol.
Communicate effectively and professionally with peers, management, dispatch, and clients.
Comply with all operational protocols, health requirements, and credentialing.
