Summary
The Inventory Specialist will play a key role in our inventory program, overseeing processes and procedures for the designated area. The ideal candidate should be experienced in managing large-volume, small-part inventories and be skilled at organizing extensive data while extracting key information. A continuous improvement mindset is essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Track all inventory used by contractors for running WiFi cable to bury fiber, including materials such as splitters, construction materials, vaults, and markers.
Label and properly organize inventory on contractor sites, which may include buildings on a lot and some small warehouses with a few dock doors.
Ensure that inventory is not managed in client warehouses, but rather directly at the contractor site.
Shift Schedule:
1st Shift 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Roles & Responsibilities
Verify stock information and unit identification numbers.
Inventory and audit equipment and parts.
Unpack, sort, and stage units for production.
Receive units using RF handheld devices.
Maintain accurate inventory records.
Conduct cycle counts and audits in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to prioritize workflow
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand and work outdoors for long periods of time
Flexibility in schedule
Computer and excel skills a plus!
