Overview:

We are hiring a Business Development Representative in Event Sales at IST Management to promote Halidom Eatery on Moreland Avenue in Atlanta, GA - near the EAV neighborhood.

The BDR will work on-site at IST Management HQ performing cold-calling and other b2b sales functions - reaching out to local businesses and other associations to keep the event pipeline and private event space full, and on-site at Halidom Eatery performing tours for prospective clients. Candidates will need to have at least 1 year of b2b cold calling experience, and excellent communication skills - both verbal and written. Experience in the hospitality/events industry is a huge plus. The ideal candidate will have a history of Event Sales in the hospitality/restaurant industry and confidence in their network of past and potential clients.

Halidom Eatery hosts 11 diverse food vendors and features the beautiful Bar La Rose, serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The atmosphere is elevated casual, contemporary, and energetic. Our private event space, The Jungle Room, is perfect for parties, meetings, and intimate gatherings.

Compensation 

Base salary 65,000.00 - 65,000.00 USD/yr + Bonus

Bonuses are awarded for scheduled qualified meetings and issued contracts.

Responsibilities:

The BDR will work on-site at IST Management HQ performing cold-calling and other b2b sales functions - reaching out to local businesses and other associations to keep the event pipeline and private event space full, and on-site at Halidom Eatery performing tours for prospective clients. 

Developing new business and expanding existing business by establishing and maintaining contacts; cold calling and prospecting

Working in tandem with Events Director and staff at Halidom Eatery

Leading event space tours; making compelling presentations to decision-makers

Reporting and other administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

Candidates must have at least 1 year of b2b cold calling experience, and excellent communication skills - both verbal and written. Experience in the hospitality/events industry is a huge plus. The ideal candidate will have a history of Event Sales in the hospitality/restaurant industry and confidence in their network of past and potential clients. Other qualifications include:

Computer skills; internet savvy, social media skills, MS Office

CRM experience

Legal authorization to work for any employer in the US

Diploma or GED
