Overview:

The Information Security Analyst Co-op participates on a small team to manage information security solutions, processes and policy.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Perform daily security operations to monitor the environment.

Develop and maintain documentation for security systems and operations.

Perform system security administration on designated technology platforms, including operating systems, applications and security systems.

Research, recommend, evaluate and implement information security solutions that identify and/or protect against potential threats, and respond to security violations.

Participate in infrastructure projects to develop, plan and implement specifications for network and distributed security technologies.

Regular and reliable attendance in the office is required.

This position will offer a blend of on-site at our corporate office and remote from home.

Qualifications:

Full-time student pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree in information technology, information security or other similarly related field.

Knowledge of basic concepts in networking, software development or information technology systems with some hands-on experience preferred.

Interest in information security.

Experience with Microsoft Office products.

Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on building customer rapport and listening.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

The duration of this co-op is January to August, Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
