Overview:

The Business Analyst role is responsible for the Planning, Definition, Prioritization, Documentation, Quality assurance, and Delivery of new business functionality and capabilities delivered through Information Technology.  The business analyst is the key connection between the business units and the IT team. The incumbent will have an understanding of the business processes and understand how technology can solve issues the business is facing or might face in the future. The incumbent will communicate effectively with the business to define the goals and translate them for the technology team.  This role involves the direct facilitation of end-user sessions, process observation, business process mapping (both current and future-state), requirements planning, request-for-proposal development, technology selection, scope definition, change management, business case development, Communication, end-user training, and delivery.  The incumbent would act as business analyst and project manager with a focus on digital integrations with external partners.   Specifically, they would support our purchase order integration product to POS.  The incumbent will manage and improve the existing product, administer the roles and business rules, groom future enhancements and requirements, oversee development and ensure quality, and help build a roadmap to future integrations and functionality.   This role would also be involved in other parts of the business, though the integration products would be the primary responsibility.

Responsibilities:

Key liaison with the business.

Run, support, and enhance our digital PO integration products for our stores

Document and train store coordinators to own and run their purchase order inventory

Build and execute roadmap of future enhancements

Recommend solutions (new software, updated software, new hardware).

Formalize the objectives and scope of business systems.

Develop user acceptance requirements for new software.

Provide support to business for day to day system questions

Plan, lead, organize and control multiple business analysis phase deliverables across multiple projects and releases.

Deliver required functionality according to agreed upon scope, schedule, and budget targets.

Define and manage functional scope and accompanying work effort required to successfully deliver expected results within allotted budget and timeframe.

Process functional scope change orders as required to successfully manage the requirements delivery.

Escalate any material risks and issues to management, recommend course of action.

Prepare, package, document and present project deliverables and presentation materials as needed.

Lead project meetings and drive accountability for all business analysis-related SDLC deliverables; facilitate effective communication between and amongst project team and key stakeholders.

Work closely with IT architects and designers to translate functional requirements into a technical solution. Likewise, work closely with end-users and QA team throughout the project to insure successful delivery.

Qualifications:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software program.

Extremely organized with great attention to detail.

Excellent management skills with the ability to lead, facilitate, motivate, and organize.

Ability to adapt to change.

Excellent customer service skills.

Ability to learn quickly and to creatively solve new problems.

Ability to negotiate and settle differences quickly and peacefully.
